The Raglan PoloRegular price–
The Raglan polo shirt is made of cotton piqué - a classic sports fabric popularised by French tennis legend Jean René Lacoste due to its high breathability. With its contrast raglan sleeves and rugby-sourced stripes dashing its ribbed collar, this shirt is the Phipps interpretation of a his iconic polo. Its body is printed with the multicoloured pattern of Earth's layers, adding a psychedelic touch to its hybrid influences.
The Raglan sleeve is named after Lord Raglan, who is said to have worn a coat with this style of sleeve after the loss of his arm in the Battle of Waterloo. It was tailored for him by coat producer Aquascutum to give him more room to swing his sword on the battlefield.
